In a remarkable display of skill and determination, Ladakh’s young ice speed skaters made history on the first day of the Asian Ice Short Track Speed Skating Trophy 2025, held at the Himadri Ice Rink in Dehradun.

7-year-old Fahiem Mehdi hailing from village Chushot became the youngest ice speed skater to represent Team India from Ladakh, winning a bronze medal in his category. He was joined by Madiha Mustafa 8 yrs (from our school ) and Mehvish Fatima 11 yrs who each won a bronze medal.
